The Itinerary

It's very simple - there isn't one.  This trip is permission to slow down.   This is more than just a vacation—it's an opportunity to unplug from the everyday, reconnect with yourself and others, and simply enjoy every moment.  Spend your days lounging by the pool, indulging in exceptional cuisine, exploring the resort, or sailing across the turquoise Caribbean Sea on our private catamaran. As the sun sets, gather with new friends over incredible dinners, handcrafted cocktails, and unforgettable evenings filled with laughter and entertainment.  There will be an included welcome cocktail party on June 6th and an included catamaran cruise scheduled for June 7th or 8th, otherwise, your entire trip is yours to do as you wish.  Additional excursion options will be provided as well.  Whether you're traveling with your partner, a group of friends, or embarking on a solo adventure, you'll be welcomed into a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where every detail has been thoughtfully planned for you.  All you have to do is pack your bags, arrive in paradise, and let the memories begin.

Deluxe Junior Suite

516 Square Feet - This is the lead-in (least expensive) room category.  Located in buildings 3, 4 and 5 near the main pool with just a few junior suites scattered in buildings 1 and 2. King size bed or two double beds on request.  Ideal for friends sharing a room or for couples seeking the most economical option.  Features a full balcony with tropical jungle view and smaller bathroom with jetted tub for one person and a single sink.  Maximum of three guests.  
Rates start at $1,362 per person for five nights, based on double occupancy

Silver Junior Suite

516 Square Feet - This room is perfect for guests who prefer remodeled rooms in a central location.  You will be in buildings one or two, closest to the resort restaurants, bars, and entertainment (but farthest from the beach).  This room features a king bed, separate seating area with sofa, an open concept bathroom with two sinks and a jacuzzi tub for two.  There is a full balcony with tropical jungle view.   It's a perfect room for couples seeking romance.   Maximum occupancy is two people.

Golden Junior Suite

656 Square Feet - This room is ideal for guests who prefer higher floors, enjoy quiet spaces and great pool views.   You will be located on the second floor of  building six, seven, or eight, in the coveted Golden section of the resort.  This area is surrounded by the Golden Pool "lazy river" for easy daily access.  This room features a king bed or two doubles (by request) and a separate seating area with sofa, an open concept bathroom with two sinks and a jacuzzi tub for two.  There is a full balcony with Golden Pool view.   It's a perfect room for couples or friends sharing a room.  Maximum occupancy is three guests.

Emerald Junior Suite Oceanfront

624 Square Feet - Recently renovated for lovers of the sea.   You will be located on the first or second floor of buildings 9-14, closest to the ocean. These buildings do not have elevators.  This room features a king bed  and a separate seating area with sofa, an open concept bathroom with two sinks and an oversized Venetian tiled jacuzzi tub for two and a wet room with two thermostatic rain showers.    There is a full balcony or terrace with ocean or beach view.  Please be advised that the view to the ocean could be blocked by palm trees.   Your expectation should be more of a partial ocean view with these rooms.   It's a perfect room for couples celebrating a special occasion, or for those wanting to be closest to the water.  Maximum occupancy is two guests.

What is a Ten Palms travel friends and family trip / signature journey
Each year, Ten Palms Travel hosts several group trips where all of our friends and family are welcome and one of our advisors is actually on the trip to help with any concerns and alleviate some of the stress/fear that may come with traveling.  Because we consider ALL of our clients our friends and family, that means YOU are invited to join us and bring as many as your own friends and family as you'd like.  Special negotiated rates, fun events, and group perks are always included.   ​
May I share this invite with my own friends and family?
Yes, of course.  The more the merrier.  We have many small groups of friends or family members within our large groups that love to travel together.  As long as they are kind and enjoy having fun, they are invited!  
How many people usually travel on these trips?
The largest group we've ever had was 70 people.  The smallest group was 12.  Each trip is different.  For this particular trip, I would anticipate between 20- 50 guests in total.  
Who is this trip designed for?
This trip is perfect for adults (over the age of 18), traveling solo, with a partner, or with friends, who want a relaxing getaway at a beautiful resort where you don't need to worry about anything. This is also for guests who don't want to be nickle-and-dimed during their vacation and want to know exactly what they are going to spend before they leave home.  There will be plenty of relaxation time, some fun entertainment, a couple of group events (participation is totally optional), and a group catamaran cruise .  
Do I need a passport?
Yes, all guests must have a passport BOOK with at least 6 months of validity after the date of returning home to travel by air to Mexico. 
What is not included in the cost of the trip?

Yes, we can absolutely help with booking your airfare.  Please be sure to fill out your request on the booking form.  
Do you offer travel insurance?
Yes, we will offer travel insurance at the time of booking.  Because the cost of insurance is based off of the age of the guests and the total cost of the trip, insurance quotes will be individualized.  We offer basic, preferred, and cancel for any reason policies.  
I am interested, but i would like to talk to you first before booking.  how do i do that?
If you have additional questions that you would like answered before booking, you can reach us in three different ways:
Will there be free time to do our own thing? 
Absolutely!  Almost the entire trip is made up of free time to do your own thing!  There will be plenty of relaxation time, some fun entertainment, a couple of group events (participation is totally optional), informal invites to things if you want to come (but never any pressure) and a group catamaran cruise (included in the cost of your trip, but you don't have to participate if you don't want to).  
How do i sign up?
Click any of the boxes on this page and you will be directed to our booking form.  Please fill out the form in it's entirety and submit it.  You'll receive an email with next steps after the form is submitted.  
I don't have my passport yet.  can I still sign up? 
Yes, you can sign up without a passport, but you MUST have one by the time we travel.  We will need to know your full name and birthday as it will appear on your passport to start the booking process.  Once you sign up, cancellation and change penalties will apply, so please keep that in mind.  You need to be certain that you will be able to obtain a passport in time for the trip.  
Are gratuities included?
This is always a tricky question when dealing with all-inclusive resorts.  Technically, yes, staff gratuities onsite are included, BUT you will see a lot of tipping going on.  You don't have to tip additionally if you don't wish to.  If you do decide that you want to provide a little extra for great service, we will provide you with guidelines before travel.  Transfer drivers and excursion providers will expect an additional gratuity.  
Do I need to get pesos before leaving home?
No, American dollars are widely accepted in Mexico.  If you decide to purchase any services at the resort such as excursions or spa treatments, they will be charged directly to your credit card.  
Why are we choosing between 5, 6, or 7 nights?  Will i miss anything if I don't stay the whole week?
5, 6, or 7 nights are provided as options based on your budget and time constraints.  You will be able to participate in all of the group activities if you only choose the five night package.  We will have a welcome cocktail party on the first or second night and the catamaran cruise will happen on day three or four, so everyone staying at least five nights won't miss out on the group events.  Traci will be staying for the full week - June 5-12, 2027.
