What an adventure we have in store for you this year!  We invite you to embark on a voyage like no other—a cruise to the mesmerizing Mediterranean!  Take a passage through time, luxury, and landscapes that will leave you breathless with wonder.  Spend your days exploring the rich cultural history and ancient civilizations, breathtaking landscapes, delicious food and wine, and some of the most gorgeous beaches in the world.  During our voyage, we will visit multiple stops in Italy including Venice, Sicily, the Amalfi Coast, Rome, and Florence, Croatia, Greece, France, and Spain - all while only having to unpack once.  Our evenings will be spent onboard the amazing Norwegian Breakaway indulging in sumptuous cuisine, dancing under the stars to live music, and revel in top-tier entertainment all while sailing to the next fabulous port of call to begin the next day's adventures.

Day 1 - Arrive Venice and Transfer to the Ship  - Bon Voyage at 5:00pm

Our cruise begins in Trieste.  Many guests will opt to arrive a couple of days early to enjoy the city of nearby Venice before embarking on the cruise.   We will be offering pre-cruise packages to the area.  Additionally, we can arrange customized pre-cruise travel reservations for a completely seamless and easy vacation.  Should you choose to arrive the day of the cruise, you will be transferred directly to your beautiful home for the next ten nights: The Norwegian Breakaway!  

Day 2 - Split, Croatia  -  7am - 9pm

At the heart of Split lies the Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site that is not merely a monument but a living part of the city. Wander through its ancient corridors, explore its hidden courtyards, and you'll find local life thriving within its millennia-old walls. Pop-up craft markets, cozy eateries, and spontaneous musical performances breathe life into this architectural wonder, making history feel alive and pulsating.  But Split's allure isn't confined to its historical marvels. Step beyond the palace walls and you're greeted by the Riva, a bustling waterfront promenade lined with palm trees, chic cafés, and breathtaking views of the Adriatic. Day 3 - Dubrovnik, Croatia - 6am - 6pm

 Perched on the edge of the Adriatic Sea, Dubrovnik, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic," is a destination that effortlessly combines breathtaking natural beauty with a rich tapestry of history. As you walk along the ancient city walls that have protected this storied city for centuries, you can't help but feel transported to a bygone era. The Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a labyrinth of marble streets, baroque buildings, and the endless charm of its storied past.  But Dubrovnik is more than just its past. Day 4 - Corfu, Greece - 8am - 5pm

Corfu, the emerald island of the Ionian Sea, beckons with its blend of myth, history, and unparalleled natural beauty. This enchanting Greek isle, draped in lush greenery, olive groves, and stunning beaches, offers a mosaic of experiences. With its Venetian fortresses, Byzantine churches, and charming old town (a UNESCO World Heritage site), Corfu tells the tales of civilizations that have left their mark, creating a cultural tapestry as rich and vibrant as the landscapes it's woven into.  But to truly know Corfu is to immerse in its leisurely island pace, where the sunsets paint the sky and the Ionian Sea whispers tales of Odysseus and ancient mariners. Day 5 - Messina (Sicily), Italy  - 8am - 5pm 

Nestled on the sun-drenched northeastern tip of Sicily, Messina beckons as the island's harmonious gateway, where the cobalt waves of the Ionian Sea meet the rugged charms of Italian life. With its storied past, Messina is a city where history and modern vibrancy dance in the streets, offering a unique glimpse into the soul of Sicily.  The city’s heartbeat is its majestic cathedral, featuring one of the world's largest astronomical clocks, which mesmerizes onlookers with its noon-time spectacle. But Messina’s allure doesn’t stop at its architectural marvels. Day 6 - Naples / Pompeii / Amalfi Coast  - 6am - 7pm

This city, alive with art, history, and the legendary Mount Vesuvius watching over it, serves as the perfect starting point for an unforgettable Italian adventure. Just a stone's throw from Naples, step back in time with a visit to Pompeii, where the echoes of the past are frozen in time beneath layers of volcanic ash, offering an incomparable window into ancient Roman life.  But the allure of Southern Italy doesn't stop at historical marvels. Day 7 - Rome - 6am - 7pm

Day 8 - Florence / Pisa - 6am - 8pm

Step into a world where art and beauty reign supreme, from the awe-inspiring dome of the Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore to the cobblestone streets that Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci once walked. Day 9 - Cannes, France - 6am - 5pm

Indulge in a day of sunbathing on pristine beaches or set sail to the Îles de Lérins, an oasis of tranquility just a short boat ride away.  Embrace the art of living with a leisurely lunch at a beachfront café, sampling fresh seafood while watching the world pass by.  Experience Cannes in all its opulent glory—from the glamour of the film festival to the serene beauty of the Côte d'Azur. Day 10 - Palma de Majorca, Spain - 1pm - 7pm 

Palma de Majorca, the sparkling capital of the Balearic Islands, invites you to indulge in its Mediterranean paradise, where ancient history and modern vibrancy converge. Unravel the charms of Palma’s Gothic cathedrals, wind along its cobbled streets, and bask in the warmth of its golden beaches. The city, cradled by the azure waters of the Mediterranean, is a treasure trove of cultural wonders, from the majestic La Seu Cathedral to the hilltop Bellver Castle, offering panoramic views that stretch across the horizon. Dive into the bustling markets like Mercat de l'Olivar, teeming with fresh produce and local delicacies, or wander through vibrant neighborhoods where galleries, boutiques, and cafés buzz with life. Day 11 - Barcelona, Spain - Arrival at 5am

This morning, we will arrive in Barcelona where we disembark.  From here, you will be transported to the airport for your flight home, unless you wish to spend more time exploring this glorious city where the whimsical architecture of Antoni Gaudí unfurls around you, from the spellbinding façade of the Sagrada Familia to the surreal playground of Park Güell. This Catalonian capital thrills with its mosaic of Gothic quarters, where narrow medieval streets open onto sunlit squares, and marketplaces burst with the colors and flavors of the region. It’s a city that dances to its own beat, from the lively tapas bars lining the bustling Las Ramblas to the serene, sandy stretches of Barceloneta Beach. As the sun dips below the horizon, the city transforms, with the sounds of flamenco, jazz, and indie music spilling from hidden bars and open terraces.  Ten Palms Travel will be creating some amazing post cruise packages that you are welcome to take part in as an addition to the cruise experience!

Your final cruise rate will depend on the amenity package that you choose.  Every cruise booked into our group will include the following:

The Extras

After booking your cruise and paying your deposit, we will provide you with all the information you will need to log into your account and begin adding extras if you wish!   Upgraded wifi, shore excursions, and reservations for select onboard activities can be purchased directly through your cruise planning website after we have you booked.  

Airfare and Promotions offered by Norwegian 

NCL currently offers Buy One Get One Free airfare, active and retired military discounts, and Cruise First certificates (basically free money) which ARE combinable with our group rates.  When you request a customized quote, we will be sure to include all possible offers at that time.  

Travel Insurance 

Travel insurance is an optional, but recommended purchase.  A full quote will be provided to you once you have decided on all of your trip details.  

Pre/Post Cruise Packages

We are delighted to offer set pre cruise packages in Venice and post cruise packages in Barcelona.  Additionally, we are happy to help you create a customized pre/post cruise package if you'd like to extend your vacation in other regions of Europe.  We can advise you of your best options and book your airfare from your home city.  
**If  booking your own pre-travel arrangements, please plan to arrive in Venice NO LATER than 12:00pm on  July 3rd.  Departure flights should be scheduled AFTER 12:00pm on July 13th.

FAQ's

What is a Ten Palms Travel Friends and Family Cruise? 

A Ten Palms Friends and Family Cruise is simply a cruise that employees of Ten Palms Travel will be traveling on with some of our personal friends and family.  We have secured special discounted rates and perks that anyone joining us may also enjoy.  We like to invite all of our clients and their friends and family to join as well.  The more the merrier!   There is absolutely no obligation to attend any group events, dine with anyone in the group, or hang out with anyone you don't want to.  It's just nice to cruise with friendly faces and have the opportunity to make new friends.  Many first time cruisers also enjoy the security in knowing that a certified travel advisor will be onboard with them should they run into any questions or issues.  

Is it safe to Cruise? What about Covid?  Do I have to be vaccinated?

At the current time, there are no longer any vaccination requirements or testing requirements to cruise.   Mask wearing is optional.  Everything is currently back to pre-Covid protocols.  

are there any hidden costs?

We enjoy booking with Norwegian because it is very inclusive and you have very few out of pocket costs.  Additional expenses that you should prepare for include the following:  transportation to/from Venice/Barcelona (again we can help you with this to make your quote even more inclusive), transportation between the airport and ship (included with NCL's air), shore excursions, some onboard activities like the arcade, casino, and spa have additional fees, onboard shopping, or shopping or meals consumed in ports.  If you choose to opt for amenity package A, you will be charged for any additional alcoholic beverages and soda as well as specialty dining should you wish to include that.  If you plan to drink at all, Amenity package B is the better value.   

Can I invite other people?

Of course!  The more the merrier!  Please feel free to share this site with your friends and family.   We do have a limited amount of cabins held within our group pricing, but as long as there is room on the ship, we can get everyone onboard at current consumer pricing.  Our group prices can only be guaranteed until our block is sold out. 

I don't want a Balcony room.  Do you have other options available?  

Of course!  We can book you in any cabin type on the ship: downgrade to an interior cabin or a studio cabin if you are traveling solo, or upgrade to the Haven.  We can provide you with rates on any room type you wish.  

what are the Cancellation penalties?

If you purchase a Cruise First certificate (the best value, as it essentially gives you a significant discount), they are non-refundable.  If you need to cancel your cruise, the certificate will go back on your account for booking a future cruise and they are good for three years.  If you choose to pay the deposit without the Cruise First discount, you forgo the additional savings, but your deposit is refundable until your final payment date.  After final payment, the cruise cancellation penalties will increase the closer you get to the sail date which will be outlined in detail on your final invoice.
